Welcome to Morocco, an arrival to transfer from Agadir airport to the hotel is included, at the hotel you will meet your guide and your fellow travelers. In the evening you have a pre-departure meeting before dinner.
Today you will enjoy the city of Agadir with our local guide, in the morning you will see the highlights of the city. In the afternoon you will enjoy your time on the beach . the rest of the afternoon will be spent at leisure.
After breakfast we will bid a farewell to Agadir and drive on the cost line to get to the very beautiful city of Essaouira. a colourful fishing town situated within 15th century Portuguese fortifications, where great beaches and surf beckon. You have the day to relax on the beach or alternatively explore the UNESCO-listed medina with its various souks and woodcarving workshops. Any city gate leads to the medina, so you’re unlikely to get lost. The beach is in front of the Medina and there are plenty of cafés with terraces, both ideal for relaxing for a few hours. Blue doors and window frames abound as do the artists shops – buy a carpet or Thuya woodcarving or sit on the beach sipping a mint tea as the sun sets. There is the opportunity to do some optional activities, such as quad biking, surfing, horse trekking and wind surfing. Enjoy a great night out in Essaouira.
It is time to leave Essaouira and head up to Casablanca, en-route we will have lunch in the fabulous city Eloualidia and than pass by the city of El jadida built and named by the Portuguese as Mazagan. At the end of the day we will be in Casablanca for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast we will visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, which has the tallest minaret and is the third largest mosque in the world – it can hold 25,000 worshippers at any one time, then we head towards the blue city Chefchaoune. En route we will make a stop to explore the official capital of Morocco Rabat and visit the Royal palace, mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan tower.
Today it is the time to explore the blue city with its narrow alleyways. At the top of the city located the main source of water called Ras-elma. This spring is the source of life for the whole city, if you are fit enough, you can go up the Mountain so that you can have a panoramic view of the whole city. Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes
After your breakfast, we will make our way through the Rif Mountains towards Volubilis, crossing Wazzan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we will visit the Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site and its Roman history. We will then continue to Meknes, a city with a 17th century heritage. We will stop here for lunch and hang out at the historical walls of the medina and Bab el Mansour. After the visit to Meknes we will drive directly to Fes city, where you will spend the night.
Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and its medina is a cacophony of aromas, sights and sounds. This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Fes el Bali – the old walled city. This fascinating medina is a veritable rabbit warren of 9400 alleys that often finish with dead ends – so be sure to stay close to the group! We also visit the dye-pits and tanneries before lunch in the medina. The remainder1of the day is at leisure. You have the option for a classic dinner and live Moroccan entertainment, including traditional music, belly dancing and magicians.
It is time to leave the city of FES and drive to get the city of famous lake of BIN ELOUIDANE where we will be staying for the night in the High Atlas Mountains. Today we are going to drive by stunning views over the middle atlas ranges with its famous city called IFRAN, this city was built by the French during 1929 to be home for their administrative and it was built according the Garden City plane. That is why when you get there you will think yourself in the French Alpes. Bin Elouidane lake is very known for fishing so if you are interested that will be the best opportunity to do you hobbies.
From Bin Elouidane we are going to admire short drive to get the majestic waterfalls of OUZOUD (act of grinding the grains) These waterfalls are considered as the highest falls in North Africa which plunge 360ft (110m) to the ground and make a spectacular scenery with a permanent rain bow. From the top you can take excellent shots of the falls and the surrounding area. Later on we will continue our journey to get to the Red City of Marrakech for over night.
It’s time to discover Marrakech. Our half day-guided tour takes us through some of the main historical monuments of Morocco’s most famous imperial city. From the Koutoubia mosque to Ben Youssef Madrassa via the vibrant Jamaa Lafna Square with its snake charmers, acrobats and storytellers, we’ll travel back in time to explore the richness of Marrakech history. In the afternoon, the best way to finish your experience in Morocco is a relaxing massage in a traditional Hammam. Otherwise, lose yourself in middle of souks.
A transfer to the airport of Marrakech is included at any time during the day.
If you choose to fly from Agadir an extra will be applied.
