ITINERARY
Day 1: CasablancaFollowing your arrival to Casablanca airport our representative will meet you to drive to our joining hotel where our Tour Guide will meet you for a pre-departure meeting followed by dinner. Overnight at Casablanca.
Driving time: 1 hour.

After breakfast we take a short journey east to the current capital of Morocco. We start our city tour of Rabat with the Oudaya Kasbah one of the oldest quarters of Rabat, and a great example of a fortified city, its high walls and location on the cliff made safe from any invasion for many centuries, next we visit Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque. The construction of this incredible structure began in 1195. The tower is beautifully comprised of red sandstone. Lunch is at your own expense in town. We then head north to Chefchaouen driving past many Berber villages and towns of the Rif Mountains. Overnight at Chefchaouen. .

We will have a free morning in Chefchaouen, either to have a late breakfast and relax at the hotel or do more exploration of this beautiful town at your own peace. In the Afternoon we will make our way south through at Rif Mountains towards Fes where we will spend the next two nights, en-route we will stop for a coffee or mint tea and toilettes at Ouazzan, we will stop at Volubilis to visit the Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site and its Moroccan history. We will then continue to Fes city, where you will spend the night. Overnight at Fes .

Fes is the oldest and largest medieval city in the world and its medina is a cacophony of aromas, sights and sounds. This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Fes el Bali - the old walled city. This fascinating medina is a veritable rabbit warren of 9400 alleys that often finish with dead ends – so be sure to stay close to the group! We also visit the dye-pits and tanneries before lunch in the medina. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure. You have the option for a classic dinner and live Moroccan entertainment, including traditional music, belly dancing and magicians. .

After breakfast, we will leave Fes and drive South to Erfoud, our first stop will be at the Alpien town of Ifran, referred to as Switzerland of Morocco, we will then continue our exciting journey crossing both Middle and High Atlas Mountains with Cedar Forrest and its Barbary apes, Berber villages and towns, farms of apples. We will stop on the way for lunch and some panoramic photos of the endless date palm plantations and the majestic Atlas Mountains. After the day’s scenic drive, settle into your hotel before gathering for dinner this evening.

We recommend a healthy morning meal before your tour of the area by 4X4, as there will be much to see and do. You will visit and learn about the Gnawa people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, experience their wonderful music and lifestyle. Nearby you can check out Dayet Srji Salt Lake where ducks, flamingos and other species of birds all reside, during the spring migration. Continue into the desert dunes of the Sahara, amid stunning golden colored sand dunes that reach up to 500 feet high, creating an otherworldly landscape. Then, switch modes of transport from 4X4 and ride Like a Local, on camel back, to your nomadic tented camp (the 4X4s will take the passengers not wishing to ride the camels straight to the camp to relax), where you will be welcomed with mint tea. As the sun sets over the Saharan dunes, celebrate your unforgettable day with a Scenic sunset. Return to your camp for a traditional meal before a campfire, along with distinctively Moroccan entertainment. Overnight at Merzouga.

The start today will be early to walk up the dunes to watch sunrise, then back to the camp for breakfast. En-route you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast, you’ll leave for Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the highest and the narrowest gorges in Morocco and it is the place where you are going to have lunch. After lunch we will go explore the gorges on foot, then take a short journey west to Dades valley then to Skoura where we will spend the night. Overnight Dades valley. .

After breakfast, we will head west towards Ouarzazate through the road of the thousand kasbah. We will make a stop for optional lunch at Ait Benhaddou and a visit its old village which used to be the main stop for the caravans between Tombouctou and Marrakech for many centuries, a UNISCO heritage site and the site for many movies such as: Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Game of Thrones… then make our way to Marrakech. We traverse the High Atlas enjoying stunning views with photo stops and a stop for a visit to a local Argan (Moroccan oil) cooperative, where you can learn about Argan and its products. At our arrival to Marrakech, we will check into our hotel then have free time for relaxation or for your own exploration. Overnight at Marrakech. .

After breakfast, we will have our local guide to take us through some of the highlights of the city. The Bahia palace will be our first destination, this beautiful palace, built at the end of the 19th century by Grand Vizier of Morocco at that time represents a great example of the Moorish architecture. After that we will visit the Souks (Markets) to get to the famous square Djamaa Lefna, which is the central place for entertainment in Marrakech, the rest of the day will be free. Overnight: Marrakech with the option of dinner with Fantasia. .

Today is a free day, so you can have a late breakfast and get our tour guide’s advise on what can make your day exciting, either on activities such as Hot Air Balloon, cooking class… or visit some other monuments we didn’t visit on our city tour, and of course more exploration of the Souks and the Medina at your own peace. .

After breakfast we will take the highway North to Casablanca, at our arrival we will go for an optional visit for the Hassan 2 mosque, and a visit to the coastal side of the town calles La Cornish then back to our hotel. The rest of the day will be free, before we meet for our farewell dinner. Overnight at Casablanca .

Day 12: Departure.
Your adventure in Morocco comes to its end after breakfast and your transfer to Marrakech airport will be at your disposal depending on your flight time. .
